On its 422nd meeting, the Filcomites were in for a treat as Toastmaster of the Day Dennis Mujana shared some secrets on achieving success! 

EXCELLENTIA XX: TWO DECADES OF FILCOM LEGACY

On March 26, Filcomites gathered to celebrate the club's two decades of excellence. Past and present members enjoyed the event which was a nostalgic moment. The occasion was graced by the District Officials GGD Ravishankar J, DAM Sabeena MK, DTM DGD Alarmel Mangai, DTM.

FILCOMITES PARTAKE IN BEACH CLEANUP

As part of its 20^th Anniversary celebration, Filcom signed up to partake in the District initiative to give back to the environment through a beach clean-up at Al Thakira mangroves area. Filcom has been volunteering time annually to be part of this environmental activity since 2019. Together with the rest of the volunteers, 350 kilos of trash were collected including 15 tires in just one hour.

As empowered individuals, we use our voices not just to share our stories but also increase awareness on issues close to our hearts. It is also our desire to be an inspiration to many, and to uplift the spirits of the youth in painting a bright future before them. In support of the advocacy of the  ANCOP Program (ANswering the Cry Of the Poor), Filcomites were among the sponsors of ANCOP's Annual Global Walk conducted last November 5, 2021. This event aims to raise fund for the education of select scholars in the Philippines. The show was also hosted by Filcomites Leo Ortega and Diana May Tangente for the events promotional prior to the main event.
